Tuesday nights are now must-see television for college football fans as the top 25 teams are announced in the country according to the College Football Playoff. We saw them come out last night and we saw what we expected: a bunch of changes.
This week we see Alabama take over the top spot after Georgia lost on the road to Auburn. Following the Crimson Tide is Clemson, Miami, and Oklahoma. If the season were to end today those two games would make for some interesting matchups! Clemson and Miami will play each other at the end of the season in the ACC Championship Game while Alabama still has to play Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Georgia will face either Alabama or Auburn, depending on who wins that game.
There is a lot of time between now and the final CFP rankings but we can’t help but talk about what ifs and potential matchups!
