Life is filled with ups and downs. We loved Brad and Carrie at the recent CMAs on stage, a professional high for Carrie Underwood. Now the personal lows; we learn that she’s fallen from the steps outside her Nashville home, breaking her wrist with several body lacerations. The accident took place over the weekend, leaving her battered, bruised, but optimistic for a full recovery. Thankfully Carrie will be able to lean on her recently retired NHL husband Mike Fisher for the care and loving support she’ll need to recuperate.
Carrie was forced to drop out of her scheduled performance at the ‘Country Rising’ benefit concert this past Sunday night in Nashville. Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, and Little Big Town were able to entertain the sold-out crowd, benefiting the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, and hurricanes in Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico.
