John Hillerman, the stodgy caretaker in the Magnum PI series has died at the age of 84 in Houston of natural causes. John became a household name portraying the Tom Selleck Magnum PI series Jonathan Quayle Higgins III, keeping Thomas and friends in check. His work on the series earned him an Emmy for ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Drama,’ and a Golden Globe Award. Although most fans assumed John was from England due to his accent, the talented actor was born in Houston, TX.
Kevin Spacey, embroiled in controversy, had been replaced in the movie ‘All the Money in the World, the Ridley Scott film, with actor Christopher Plummer.
