Earlier this week news broke that Kevin Spacey was involved with sexual harassment of a fellow actor, Anthony Rapp, and it has talked about a whole lot since then. Spacey followed it up with an apology and the announcement that he was gay. Not surprisingly, this has not gone over well as some believe he’s trying to change the story to him coming out and not his potential wrongdoing many years ago.
With all of this going on, production of House of Cards has come to a halt and now the same can be said for Spacey’s 2018 movie, Billionaire Boys Club and Gore. There is no word on if this one will debut next year like originally thought.
There are rumors that there will be spinoffs from House of Cards though. Word is that a Doug Stamper spinoff has been discussed and could potentially happen. This would be pretty intriguing to watch moving forward.
Our thoughts are with Anthony Rapp and every other courageous actor and actress who have come forward and ousted those who have acted inappropriately in the past.
