Our thoughts are with Carson Daly today as the news that his stepfather, Richard Caruso, has lost his battle with cancer. He had been suffering from bone cancer and passed away earlier this week.
Daly took to Instagram to post this about him, “Pops passed away today with absolute dignity & pride. The greatest man we ever knew. Our Hero. He exemplified great faith, loyalty to family & hard work. He provided us all with so much. We’re grateful. His legacy lives on in all of us & anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He’s reunited with mom now. Our faith remains strong. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers.” You can see that touching post here.
It has to have been a tough last month or so for Daly as not only has this member of his family passed away but so did his mother just last month. She was 73 years old at the time of her death.
