What a wild weekend it was in the NFL! Just yesterday we saw some of the craziest outcomes and games we will see all year. Let’s get right to it…
Did anyone see the Giants getting their first win of the season in primetime against the Denver Broncos on the road? Well, they won 23-10 even though Eli Manning didn’t even throw it 20 times. They were up 17-3 at the half and never looked back.
The Chiefs were regarded as one of the best team’s in the NFL, and still are, but they didn’t look like it yesterday. They were taken down by the Steelers 19-13 at home.
The Atlanta Falcons are also another top team in the NFL, but they didn’t play like it against the Dolphins. After being up 17-0 in the first half, they gave up 20 straight points and it was a Matt Ryan turnover that sealed their fate in the final minute. That makes two straight losses for the Falcons.
The Lions and Saints managed to score 90 total points, but somehow it can be said that both defenses and special teams had great moments. There were four defensive touchdowns in the game and even a punt return for a touchdown in the Saints win.
Other winners on Sunday included the Patriots, Bears, Texans, Cardinals, Rams, and Chargers.
