Katy Perry is in the middle of her ‘Witness’ tour, but stopped the music long enough in DC a few days ago to receive a rare award; receiving three RIAA Diamond Song Awards for her tunes “Roar,” “Dark Horse” and “Firework.”

The music industry recognizes only a few songs that have sold or been streamed 10 million times; we hear Katy was pleased as punch to be so honored. There have been only 14 songs in all of music ever certified diamond.

In other Katy Perry news, she’s releasing her YouTube documentary ‘Will You Be My Witness?’ on her subscription channel October 4th.
