Sam Smith has just hit number one on the music charts in the UK with “Too Good At Goodbyes,” and the song generated over 4.5 million streams and nearly 40,000 downloads in its first few days. His tune “Body Like a Back Road” is still in the top 20 of the US charts, while “Too Good At Goodbyes,” just made its debut on the American music charts. The “Too Good At Goodbyes,” video is a bit teary, as it shows Sam actually tearing up while singing. The song was written right after a difficult breakup, giving Sam inspiration for a tender tune.
Sam has hit number one five times as a solo artist, and twice as a featured artist on another performer’s song. Sam has earned an American Music, BBC, BET, Brit, Golden Globe, and four Grammy Awards since bursting on the scene a few years ago.
Sam is getting ready for his big Hollywood Bowl performance in Los Angeles on October 21st of this year.
