Rachel Platten Wows Live Audience on GMA

This past week Rachel Platten performed he latest single “Broken Glass” on GMA, proving she still has the musical chops. Rachel was born in May of 1981 in Newton Centre, MA and began as just one voice in her high schools singing group. Upon graduating from Trinity College, Rachel moved to New York City’s Greenwich Village and took up the lead vocals in a cover band called ‘Dayz of Wild’.

After catching the ear of a record executive, Rachel singed and released her first album “Trust in Me” in 2003, and her first airplay success came with the release of her single “1,000 Ships” in 2011.

Rachel’s many works with charitable causes include with Musicians on Call and Below the Line, a charity designed to end world poverty. Rachel is scheduled to appear at the Tulsa State Fair October 3rd.
