Thomas Rhett was born in Valdosta, GA in 1990 and probably could have gone to college to earn a business degree if it weren’t for one familial thing; he’s the son of country music star Rhett Atkins. Although he began his college career at Lipscomb University, he eventually broke his promise to his mother, dropped out, and began his musical journey. We think he’s mom gotten over his promise to finish school by being one of the hottest country music acts around.
