Hip Hop and R&B Dominating the Artist 100

This week’s Artist 100 chart from Billboard has been released and there are not only plenty of hip-hop and R&B artists inside the top 100, but they’re also inside the top 10. Of the top 10, three are from these two genres of music.

Bruno Mars ranks the highest of the bunch as he sits at number two this week. Kendrick Lamar is the second highest hip-hop and R&B artist sitting at number five. Finally, DJ Khaled is sitting there at number eight.

Outside the top 10 are plenty of artists including Jay-Z at 13, Drake at 15, The Weeknd at 16, Future at 17, Meek Mill at 19, Khalid at 20, Rihanna at 21, 21 Savage at 22, French Montana at 24 and Post Malone at 25. Do you see what we mean now?! There are so many of great artists from these two genres putting out music these days.
