Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix has been advised by doctors to have vocal cord surgery and just recently he made the announcement that he would be doing so. This surgery causes the band to cancel the rest of their August tour dates, meaning dates in Illinois, Oregon and Alaska will be no more.

This is really unfortunate news for all of the obvious reasons regarding his health, but also because they were one of the headliners at the Moonstock Festival. This festival goes down in Carterville, Illinois and we were excited about their performance there.

Thankfully the surgery shouldn’t have Shaddix down for too long. The band plans to resume playing dates in September.
