Recently, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” took over the top spot of most watched video on YouTube. It did so just the other day and took the spot over from “Gangham Style” from Psy. Both are great hits and even better music videos, but did you know that one of them almost never happened?
Puth has come out and said that it almost never happened. The way he tells it, he was not supposed to be in the music video, but he wouldn’t let Furious 7 have the song unless they put him in. He blames it on him not being a big name in music at the time. Puth does say that he’s worked with the same people that originally didn’t want him in the music video and has no hard feelings. He even says that he’s friends with them!
What a great outlook on the situation from Puth, as it would totally be understandable to hold a grudge. We’re glad to hear he doesn’t though.
