Everyone knows about Psy’s “Gangnam Style” YouTube view record by now. The song was a monster hit because of the music, but also because of the music video and the dance that came along with it. It has nearly three million views as of time of writing, which was overtaken by a new song and video this week.
The new number one video on YouTube is Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.” This one has overtaken the Psy music video with 2,896,510,794 views. Yes, you read that correctly! What a monster accomplishment for Puth who came out on Twitter and said that back in 2007 when he joined YouTube he was hoping to hit 10,000 views with one music video! Well, you certainly did that!
