Just the other day Ed Sheeran came out and said that he was quitting Twitter. Like the time he took a hiatus not too long ago, we thought that meant he would be offline completely, but that’s not the case. He discussed with The Sun the other day what he really meant when he said he was quitting Twitter.
What he really meant was that he’s still on Twitter, but isn’t reading anything. So, it sounds like he’ll be posting things from time to time, but just won’t be reading what others have to say.
For instance, Sheeran wrote Wednesday, “Q magazine is out now. Also loads of Hoo-har about me quitting stuff. I haven’t quit anything…” The message was a shared post from his Instagram account that concluded by saying “…except Harry Potter. Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th yo.”
