Can you believe that 11 years ago this week Taylor Swift released her debut single? It was titled “Tim McGraw” and it was a huge hit for her. This one was a Country hit for her and she’d have plenty before moving on to Pop music and her dominance in that music genre.
“Tim McGraw” sold over one million copies and was followed up by another huge hit of hers, “Teardrops on My Guitar.” We’re sure this debut single holds a special place in her heart. She even played it on her Fearless Tour, her first headlining tour, years later. Can you believe that with the help of Liz Rose, she wrote this single as a freshman in high school?!
