Usher was slated to perform at the One Love Manchester benefit concert that was put on Sunday night, but unfortunately we did not see him on stage. He came out on social media recently to explain why he wasn’t there and we find ourselves quite fine with him missing the concert. Allow us to show you…
“So happy to see that last night’s concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails. I would have loved to be there but it was my son’s first day at Camp Kudzu, one of the few summer camps for kids living with diabetes. This was an important day for him and for myself as a proud father. Stay strong U.K.” he wrote on Instagram.
We totally get why he was not at this concert and honestly would have done the same thing. The concert ended up being amazing and while we would have loved to see Usher perform, we certainly understand why he wasn’t in attendance.
