Wonder Woman came out this past weekend and was absolutely dominant at the box office. It brought in over $100 million in its debut and Patty Jenkins, the director, is certainly pleased. With that total she now has the record for most money generated at the box office by a female director!
Gal Gadot stars in this one and while people may her know her from the Fast and Furious movies, we think she’ll be known as the star of Wonder Woman for many years to come.
Globally this one did great as well bringing in just over $220 million internationally with almost $40 million of that coming from China. What a weekend it was for Wonder Woman!
