Okay, get the cooler packed and let’s fill up the car for a road trip this month to see our favorite bands. First stop, the Derby City Louisville Kentucky for the Beatles themed ‘Abbey Road On the River’ May 25th through May 29th. Not only should Louisville be of your favorite cities, the weekend will be all things Beatles with tribute bands, memorabilia, trivia and live music from Peter Asher, (Peter and Gordon) the Grass Roots, The Family Stone, Peter Noone (Herman’s Hermits) and Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere and the Raiders).

During the same time, thousands of miles away in Napa Valley is the Bottlerock Outdoor Festival with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Foo Fighters, and Mavis Staples, formerly of the Staples singers.

On May 27th and 28th, down the road in Simi Valley, California, it’s the Cajun & Blues Music Festival with special guests the Robbie Krieger Band, the Yardbirds, ad Detroit’s very own Mitch Ryder.
