If you’re a baseball fan who loves the Beatles, the Toledo Mud Hens (Detroit Tigers AAA club) may be your favorite team. Why? Just make plans to take in a Toledo Mud Hens game June 16th and you’ll see for yourself!
The Toledo Mud Hens will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Beatle LP “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Band,” by wearing custom Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts uniforms! The local Beatle cover group the “Hard Day’s Night” will perform after the game, and fans will have a chance to bid on the players uniforms with the proceeds going to a local charity; Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and ‘Helping Hens’ fund, the team’s own charity.
Fans are also encouraged to show up dressed as their favorite Beatle, and the uniforms (replicate of the 1967 album cover of the same name) will be collector’s items. For more details about the Beatles/Mud Hens event held June 16th, visit MudHens.com.
This season’s finale of The Voice is coming Tuesday night and is two hours long.
