May Releases You’re Going to Want to Check Out

We just celebrated ‘Record Store Day’ in late April, but what are the new releases for music fans in May?
The Beatles‘50th anniversary edition of the iconic Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band has already been released for purchase.

Although we just lost this founding father of rock and roll, Chuck Berry’s ‘The Complete Chess Singles ‘A sides & B sides,’ is out this week.

Yes, they’re still around, ‘The Little River Band; The Big Box Set’ a 6-CD collection, is out this week. Who could forget the songs from this group, born from down under?

Most people forget that the band Rare Earth recorded on the Motown Label; now the band is re-releasing ‘Rare Earth’s Dreams / Answers’ next week.

We mentioned this earlier in the year, Jethro Tull is releasing ‘Songs From the Wood: 40th Anniversary Edition, The Country Set’ later this month.

Bad Company is bringing back ‘Run with the Pack and ‘Burnin’ Sky’ in May, while the E Street’s Little Steven releases ‘Soulfire.’

Finally of note, original Chicago member and solo artist Peter Cetera is releasing his greatest hits of sorts called ‘The Very Best of Peter Cetera.’
