This week was a big one for Janet Jackson who celebrated her 51st birthday! We don’t talk about every celebrity birthday, but Janet is an icon in her own rights and has been around for so long that we must pay our respects to her greatness. And the crazy thing is she is still going! If you remember, she just announced that her world tour was back on this fall.
Janet has put out 11 albums in her time as a solo artist with her first being “Janet Jackson” and her most recent being “Unbreakable.” These albums and singles from it like “All For You,” “Together Again,” “Nasty” and “That’s the Way Love Goes” have made her an even bigger star than when she was a part of the Jackson 5!
She’s won five Grammys in her time to go along with 10 Billboard Music Awards and nine MTV Video Music awards among many others.
