Solange has gotten herself back on the map in the past year and we see that is true with her winning the Webby Award for Artist of the Year just the other night. They gave it to her because of her work on the Internet to help fight issues involving “promoting community and diversity.”
Kara Walker gave Solange the award and Solange followed with an epic speech. Considering it was only five words long you can’t really call it a speech! She said, “I got five on it” then proceeded to walk off the stage with a cute and fun hand motion. You can see how it went down by clicking here.
