Here are a few Monday morning music news headlines…

Janet Jackson has had her baby, ready to take on the world in a new tour she’s calling ‘State of the World’ tour, opening in Lafayette, LA right after Labor Day, and tentatively ending in Atlanta mid-December.

Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, John Legend and Lorde had all been announced as performers in the upcoming May 21st live Billboard Awards Award show. The Chainsmokers and Drake lead all nominees with massive numbers of nominations.

The movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2′ opened last weekend, but the real news is the soundtrack. Fleetwood Mac, Cat Stevens, George Harrison, ELO and even Glen Campbell songs are featured throughout the film.

Did you know that Celine Dion has confessed to owning over 10,000 pairs of shoes? Also, production is nearly finished in the Michael Jackson biopic film called ‘Michel Jackson; Searching for Neverland’ set to be released later this year.
