John Legend has had a big past month and it keeps getting better for this talented singer. He will be heading to Massachusetts today, Tuesday, to receive the Salem Advocate for Social Justice Award! This one is given by Salem State University and is quite the honor partly because he’s the first to ever receive it.
Legend is expected to talk about his work over the past year fighting education and criminal justice issues, but he’s also set to perform a little for the crowd.
Congratulations to John Legend on this honor and his past month. Being on the cover for Time Magazine and their 100 most influential people episode is not the only thing he’s being honored with in 2017 apparently!
