This year the NBA is putting on their first ever NBA Awards and they have chosen maybe the biggest rapper in the game to host it. Drake will be the host of the inaugural NBA Awards on June 26 and taking place in New York City.
Unlike past years, the NBA has waited to unveil their big awards like MVP, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year. It is at this award show that they’ll be giving the rundown of who won what with the help of Drake.
Drake is a huge basketball fan, especially the Toronto Raptors. He has been seen courtside many times over the past few years at their games. He’s also been seen at the NBA All Star Game as well. He’s a great ambassador of hip-hop music as well as the sport of basketball.
