The Ivor Novello Awards are one of the biggest in the UK and this May 18, we’ll be seeing a few of our favorite stars up for awards at this one. Among those up for an award at this one is Coldplay. The band has two nominations, but they came for the same award.
Coldplay is up for the PRS for Music Most Performed Work Award thanks to their songs “Hymn for the Weekend” and “Adventure of a Lifetime.” The other song up for this one comes from Adele and is titled “When We Were Young.”
The band hasn’t been nominated at this award show since 2009 when they won Best Selling British Song for “Viva La Vida.” They’ve been nominated for five more awards at the award show, but only have that one win.
