Tragedy can visit anyone, and our hearts and prayers go out this week to Celtics NBA Star Isaiah Thomas who lost his sister Chyna (22 years of age) who was killed in a terrible car accident off I-5 in Washington State early Saturday morning. Authorities indicate, by eyewitness accounts, that the gradual swaying of the vehicle indicates she very likely fell asleep at the wheel at 5am that morning.
Quick – what MLB teams are sitting atop their divisions as we speak? Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, Miami, Cincinnati, and Colorado are number one after 13 or so games. Baltimore has the best record thus far at 8 and 3. It’s early, but of these teams only Baltimore made the playoffs last year.
The NFL Draft begins April 27th with the big pre-draft shakeup coming at the QB position. A few of the mock drafts list Mitchell Trubisky from North Carolina going as the draft’s first QB, with Patrick Mahomes from Texas Tech at number two, DeShaun Watson from Clemson at number three, Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer at number four.
