‘Blues Image,’ the band that delivered that one hit memorable on hit wonder from the 60s, is back!
You may remember a one hit wonder in the 1970 called “Ride Captain Ride,” by the rock group Blues Image. The group was founded by Mike Pinera out of Tampa, and for a few years they were able to remain relevant; the single “Ride….” Peaked at #4 and provided oxygen for their success.
So why the hub bub now about a one hit wonder from a band people barley remember? The band has resurrected, at least in the recording studio, with contributions from Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain and guitar god Pat Travers, to record and release a new LP called ‘Timeless.’
