Kerry Washington has been amazing in the show Scandal, but don’t forget that she was a star before this show. She has been nominated for awards from different award shows like the BET Awards, Golden Globes, Grio, Teen Choice, MTV Movie Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards among others.
Amazingly her film roles began back in 2000 with Our Song and 3D. Since then she’s been in movies like Save the Last Dance, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, I Think I Love My Wife and Django Unchained among others. We think Django Unchained is likely her best performance during her years as an actress in movies. This role earned her the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture award from the NAACP Image Awards as well as the Best Actress award at the BET Awards.
Kerry Washington certainly is loved in Scandal, but she’s been around the movie industry for some time as well as we just showed you.
