This year’s Billboard Music Awards are just over a month away and so we recently heard the nominations for this event. Julia Michaels and Pete Wentz did the honors on Good Morning America the other day, so we now know who all has a chance at taking home hardware on May 21.

There are plenty of genres represented at this award show, one of our favorites being rap music. There are a few male and female rappers up for non-rap awards, but let’s take a moment to look at the rap specific awards…
