On Thursday we talked about three great pitching options for your Fantasy baseball action on Opening Day, so of course we’re going to look at a few hitters today. While the first game of the season usually pits the very best pitchers in the game against each other, that isn’t always the case for some teams. Let’s try to target some of those pitchers…

Danny Duffy gets the nod against the Twins on Monday and he’s one pitcher we’re going to try to target. He pitched very well last season, but struggled against the Twins in 2016. Take a look at hitters like Brian Dozier, Miguel Sano and Eduardo Escobar in this one.

The Washington Nationals lineups is a deadly one and they’ll be facing one of those weaker starting pitchers come Monday. Edinson Volquez is no ace and because of it we love plenty of Nationals’ hitters. Don’t be afraid to use guys like Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon and Daniel Murphy against him.

Jose Quintana has been very good for the White Sox in recent years, but we’re not all that scared of him. On the other hand, the Tigers have been one of the best offenses in the American League as long as they’re healthy. Well, it’s game one, so for the most part they’re healthy! JD Martinez is going to be out for this one, but hitters like Ian Kinsler, Nick Castellanos, Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez are elite options against the southpaw.
