FX has its third season of American Crime Story likely coming up in 2018 and it has inked a big star to act in it. Penelope Cruz will be playing Donatella Versace, the sister of the famous Gianni Versace. This story covering the Versace family is set to last for 10 episodes and will be covering the murder of Gianni.
There were rumors that Lady Gaga would be playing the role of Donatella for this one, but this will not be happening. Instead, we’ll see former Oscar winner Penelope Cruz take this role. Rumor has it that Gaga’s busy schedule was to blame for her not being able to be a part of the third season.
