NCAA First Round Creates Plenty of Excitement

The first round of the NCAA tournament is underway with 16 winners coming up big on Thursday. The games started at about noon and ended after bed time, but the excitement was too much to go to sleep on.

Upsets were quieted for the majority of the day, but that doesn’t mean the games weren’t kept close. Princeton was seconds away from taking down Notre Dame, Bucknell fought hard to beat West Virginia, but lost by six and two one seeds were only up single digits at halftime.
