Ed Sheeran just released “Divide,” so of course he’s seeing crazy numbers on streaming music platforms, social media and the different video channels like YouTube and VEVO. Well, the numbers have come out from the kind of weekend Sheeran has had on Spotify and it’s quite amazing.
This weekend Sheeran broke the record for most plays on Spotify for a single song with 10 million! The song was “Shape of You” of course and that’s not the only record he now has. His album that just dropped hit just under 69 million streams on the same platform! In total, “Divide” saw itself streamed a total of 68.7 times.
It’s good to be Ed Sheeran right now, but it’s even better to be a fan of his music!
