Coldplay is visiting Israel and Palestine, but continues to shoot down rumors that the band will be playing there in the form of a peace concert. The band’s Twitter account posted this message to shoot down those rumors…
“Hi everyone. We are in Israel and Palestine to listen and learn and that’s all; there is no concert scheduled, we are just having an interesting and enlightening trip to learn about the area.
The articles suggesting that we have a signed contract are incorrect.

While there is no longer any hope to see the band play out in these countries overseas, it is great to see the band want to learn more. Maybe they will tell us what they learned on their visit!
