The Bachelorette Makes History

Earlier this week The Bachelorette announced their lead for their 33rd season and with that announcement comes history. Rachel Lindsay was named the next lead becoming the first black lead in the show’s history!

The timing of the announcement comes at an odd time since Rachel is still competing in this season of The Bachelor. With Rachel being named the next lead we now know she doesn’t “win” this season of The Bachelor, but that’s fine. She has an amazing personality and was loved by many that watched this season.

This is the first time that the show has made a premature announcement directly impacting the current season, but that’s fine with us with the news that Rachel Lindsay will be the lead of the upcoming The Bachelorette.
