The Hollywood Walk of Fame is located along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard, and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. Those that earn a Star are typical note worthy celebrities of Hollywood, music, and deserving executives and from all over the world.

Over 10 million visitors will stand above the stars that grace the walk. The Walk of Fame is a project overseen by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and it makes good business sense to support the stars this way.

Who has a star? Well, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Tony Bennett, George Benson, Chuck Berry, Glen Campbell, The Carpenters, Ray Charles, Chicago, John Denver, Earth Wind & Fire, Jose Feliciano. Kenny G, Marvin Gaye, Bill Haley, Hall and Oates, George Harrison, Michael and Janet Jackson, Billy Joel, KC and the Sunshine Band, Chaka Khan, Cyndi Lauper and Barry Manilow have a star.

A few other notable stars on the walk are Little Richard, Bob Seger, The Temptations, Frank Sinatra, Ritchie Valens, Dionne Warwick, Barry White, Michael Bolton, David Bowie, James Brown, Phil Collins, Sam Cooke, Crosby Stills, Nash & Young and Neil Diamond. Al Jarreau who sadly died this past weekend also has a star on the walk.
