Metallica’s James Hetfield Put on Vocal Rest

Metallica has been touring around the globe and just this weekend was put on the shelves for at least a moment due to a health issue. James Hetfield was put on vocal rest because he wasn’t near up to the kind of health artists like to be at when performing.

Friday night in Denmark Hetfield performed with the band, but was clearly not 100%. Reportedly, Saturday the band and doctors decided that he hadn’t gotten any better and would have to be put on vocal rest.

This news means that the band did not play its show in Copenhagen, but they have rescheduled it. The band will be playing at Royal Arena September 2.
