TMZ has come out with a bit of shocking news from a few of our favorite artists. Drake, Justin Bieber and Kanye West are all planning on not attending the Grammys. This award show is February 12, so Drake has an excuse for not attending. He’ll be performing in Europe that night. As for Bieber and Kanye? Well, that is where things get interesting.
Bieber has come out and said that he doesn’t feel the award show represents the best young talent. He is up for four awards, including Song of the Year and Album of the Year, but TMZ is reporting that he won’t be at this year’s award show.
Kanye skipping this year’s Grammys wouldn’t be that much of a surprise. He has always created waves at award shows and said a while back that he wouldn’t be at this year’s show if Frank Ocean’s “Blonde” wasn’t nominated. The album wasn’t submitted in time and therefore is not up for any awards this year. It’ll be interesting to see if he needs rest after a tough couple of months on tour and in the hospital as well.
