Rihanna Takes Home R&B Artist Award at People’s Choice Awards

The People’s Choice Awards is one of the best award shows in the business if you ask us. It’s all about whom the fans love and they show it with their voting. There are no politics here!

Rihanna loves this award show because her fan base is so strong and loves her right back! She was up for four awards at the show, but only took home one piece of hardware. She won the R&B Artist award, beating out some huge names. Beyone, Drake, Usher and The Weeknd were also nominated for this one.

Other nominations she received at this year’s People’s Choice Awards include Best Album (ANTI), Best Song (Work featuring Drake) and Female Music Artist. While she didn’t win big at the event, we’re sure she’s happy that she isn’t leaving empty handed.
