The 2017 Brit Awards announced their nominees for their prestigious award show this weekend and it’s jam packed with stars. Among those stars are many hip-hop artists we know and love. This year’s award show is going down at the O2 Arena in London on February 22.
Some of our favorite artists are up for hardware come next month including Drake and Future. Together they are up International Group, going up against A Tribe Called Quest, Kings of Leon, Twenty One Pilots and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.
Other hip-hop stars up for hardware include Beyonce and Rihanna (International Female Solo Artist each) and Drake and the Weeknd as solo artists (International Male Solo Artist). To go along with those awards, Rihanna is also up for British Single and British Artist Video as a featured artist on her hit with Calvin Harris, “This Is What You Came For.”
