Mediabase has released their end of the year chart for 2016 and we’re thrilled to tell you about it. It features all of the best hits and artists from the past year that we are sure you’ll agree with.
The number one hit this year came from Lalah Hathaway and is titled “Angel.” This star singer and performer only had one hit make it to the top 50, but we think she’ll be happy with that one being THE top hit.
Janet Jackson didn’t have the top hit or even a top five hit, but she did place singles at number 10, 28 and 29. Janet is surely happy with those results.
Kirk Franklin’s “Wanna Be Happy?” stayed at the top for quite some time this year and because of it ended up at number nine on the cahrt. Like Lalah, it was his only hit to make the top 50.
