Jennifer Hudson is a super talented singer and actress that owes a lot of her fame and fortune to a movie that was released 10 years ago this week. The movie we’re talking about of course is Dreamgirls.
10 years ago on Christmas day the movie was released and it immediately was a hit. Hudson was a star in it and took home the award Oscar for Best Supporting Actress that year. Hudson would also win an Academy and Golden Globe Award for her role in the movie.
Like we said though, she is a multi-talented star. Her debut album titled “Jennifer Hudson,” won the award for Best R&B Album at the 2008 Grammys. She’s won many awards between then and now and is actually up for Best Musical Theater Album at the 2017 Grammys.
