Marc Cohn Out on Tour in 2017

“Walking in Memphis” was a great tune for Marc Cohn, an artist that has been playing coffee houses and small bars for decades. Marc was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1959, playing in garage bands and local IHOPs until his move to Los Angeles, where he played bigger houses. Marc won the 1991 Grammy for ‘Best New Artist.’

In 2005, Marc was shot in an attempted carjacking in Denver, undergoing critical surgery to remove a bullet from his head. Doctors called him the luckiest alive as Marc made a full recovery. He has not taken this second chance at life for granted, working hard to fill each day with love and devotion.
