Earlier this week, Green Day made a surprise appearance in Oakland to help support those who were affected by the Ghost Ship fire. What a great appearance by the band after this unfortunate incident took 36 lives from us. In total, $3,000 was raised for the families of the victims.

Green Day made this surprise appearance at the 1-2-3-4 Go! record shop and continues to be one of our favorite bands for reasons just like this. The original band set to play at the event was SWMRS, who put on a great show as well for everyone at the event. Tickets were just $20 and those who “splurged” for this great cause were rewarded mightily if you ask us!
