Thursday morning, Meghan Trainor hopped on Instagram and saddened us all, canceling multiple shows to round out 2016. She said on Instagram, “I posted last week that I wasn’t feeling great, but was powering through the best that I could. Unfortunately, I am not feeling any better and after leaving the doctor today, I have been put on strict vocal rest for the next two weeks. This absolutely kills me because I was so excited to see all of you on the road…”
Meghan had many tour dates left to finish out the year and was forced to cancel shows in Washington DC, Atlanta, New York City and Sunrise (Florida). It looks like for now, we’ll have to wait until 2017 to see Meghan play live again. While we are saddened to see that she is too sick to perform, we would rather her be safe than sorry.
