If you’re a Bob Dylan fan you’ll want to check out his latest video effort, ‘Bob Dylan on Tour in 1966,’ a new film released last week. The short film coincides with the release of his new box set “Bob Dylan: The 1966 Live Recordings.” It’s been a landmark year for Bob, also winning the Nobel Peace Prize for Literature. Here are a few fun facts about Bob you may not have known…

Dylan’s dad Abe played baseball for a living for a brief period of time when he was in his 20s. Abe contracted polio and had to quit playing. Dylan’s classic song “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35” was recorded in one take.

Bob Dylan is a grandfather, with nine grandchildren. He has the bumper sticker “World’s Greatest Grandpa” on his sports car.
