The 2016 AMAs were quite the event last night, showing off all of the stars. They all came together, meeting up in Los Angeles, California for the American Music Awards. It was a huge event and one that was one you should not have missed. There were many big performances that were a great time to watch.
One band that had a big night was Twenty One Pilots. They were actually nominated for Artist of the Year, but didn’t make it to the top five based off of fan voting. Even then, they had themselves quite the night to remember!
These two rockers we know as Twenty One Pilots were the winner of the Favorite Artist – Alternative Rock award, beating out Coldplay and the X Ambassadors for this piece of hardware. They also won the Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock award, beating out The Chainsmokers and DNCE.
