Twenty One Pilots’ Big Night at AMAs

The 2016 AMAs were live last night in Los Angeles with all of the stars in attendance. Ariana Grande won the Artist of the Year award, the biggest award of the night if you ask us, but there were plenty other big winners at this event. Twenty One Pilots was up for this big award, but couldn’t make it into the top five for this award. They weren’t too upset though by the end of the night.

Twenty One Pilots was the winner of the Favorite Artist – Alternative Rock award, beating out Coldplay and the X Ambassadors for this piece of hardware. They also won the Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock award, beating out The Chainsmokers and DNCE.

While the band might not have won the big award of the night, they took home two pieces of hardware. That’s a big night if you ask us!
